Our staff is here to help you with end of life decisions. There comes a time in the life of all pets when the possibility of a recovery to a comfortable existence is highly unlikely. As caretakers of our animals we must consider all possibilities to relieve our pet's suffering. The decision to for end of life of a beloved pet is among the most difficult choices a pet owner ever has to make. Consultation with one of our veterinarians will help owners determine whether end of life is appropriate and when that might occur. Through consultation with one of our veterinarians and the hospital staff, the last days of a pet's life can be comfortable and reflect the care and love that the pet has experienced throughout its entire life.  Our hospital also provides at home end of life services so the patient can be in their familiar environment.

Prior to end of life, pet owners should decide the final disposition of their pet. This reduces the emotional stress at the time of the end of life. Our hospitals provide a range of respectful options.

In a quiet and comfortable environment, end of life is performed by one of our veterinarians. Care takers can be present with their be loved pet or not depending on their preference.
